Associate - Fashion Design

The Fashion Design program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the fashion design, retail, and merchandising industries. Draping, pattern drafting, computer design, and construction using industry-standard equipment are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents for a fashion design career.

With the courses that make up our degree programs, students can develop competent multitasking skills, integrating conceptual and creative abilities with technical and sound business practices that can prepare our students for successful professional careers in the fashion design industry.

Bachelor - Fashion Design

The Fashion Design program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the fashion design, retail, and merchandising industries. Draping, pattern drafting, computer design, and construction using industry-standard equipment are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents for a fashion design career.

Architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents. Building systems, regulations, and current business practices are taught to prepare students for their internships and professional careers in interior design.

In the profession of interior design, a bachelor's degree is often a requirement for upper management positions. The Academy's B.F.A. in Interior Design is intended to help students acquire both the practical skills required for hands-on design work and the management skills to become leaders. The Bachelor of Fine Arts is designed to provide graduates with advanced skills in graphic design that will enable them to keep abreast of the changing and emerging technology and subsequent trends in the computer graphics and graphic design industries. Students will study in such advanced areas as litigation graphics, digital imaging and modeling, computer animation, tradeshows, web design, web development, and integrated projects that will not only involve finished design but will also focus on the entire design process, tracking of the process, and analysis of the goals and target audience. Application of both theory and principles of applied graphic design will be studied.

Bachelor - Game Design

The Bachelor degree program in Game Design provides training in principles and techniques used to create interactive 2D and 3D computer games. Students will learn design software, programming languages, modeling and animation skills, networking principles, level and world editors, and game engines used to design and develop games, and will examine market research and business concepts related to game production and distribution processes. Project management, creative design, and communication skills are integrated throughout this dynamic curriculum to prepare students for entry-level positions in the game design industry.

Bachelor - Digital Media

The Bachelor's degree program in Digital Media offers students the opportunity to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of digital media technology.
